Painting Puppies and Pals

This demonstration will focus on painting the fur, eyes, mouths, tongues, ears and character of dogs.  Everything from how to create an accurate sketch to how to make the eyes sparkle and the tongue look wet will be included.

Preparing to Show your Work: Ready or Not?

Is it time to get your art out of the studio and into the public eye? Cheryl will help you navigate questions you may have such as: "Is my art good enough?" "How do I pick a venue?" "How do I price my work?" Discuss the emotional aspects of showing your work along with practical matters like planning a reception.

Comparing Watercolor Paper - Hands On
12:00-2:00
with Cindy Valdez
Cindy will guide you through a comparison of several different watercolor papers on the market. We will examine how the different papers respond to application and removal of color, pencil line, tape, and masking fluid.  We will discuss various properties of watercolor paper and how differences in sizing and weight can affect your finished product.
