11-12 and 1:30-2:30
Kay will demonstrate using a very limited palette of 4-6 colors. A wet into wet approach and very few brushstrokes will create the slopes of the mountains. While the wet surface begins to change, Kay will mist and tilt the board in order to make some areas move and others not! This is to help students understand controlling water is one of the secrets one must unlock in order to control watercolor. Choosing the best pigments, specific to your desired results is another.
These are only two of the concepts to be presented in the two day workshop, April 4-5, in my Eden Gallery/ Studio, in Woodinville, WA.
