Who are you as a painter? What style do you most admire and what comes out of your hands? How do you discover the kind of artist you are? These are questions that will addressed as Ann demonstrates numerous ways the paint the same subject. Learn how to loosen up or get more delicious detail. Paints, surfaces, technique, patience and skill all play a part. For this workshop we will be painting the same landscape painting numerous times, each progressively more abstract.
The final painting will be completely non-objective and will illustrate how important the design elements are in abstraction. Somewhere in the range from realism to abstraction, you may find your perfect style as a painter. .
