Join Theresa and Cindy with their dynamic layer it up methods using Transparent and Opaque watercolors. Explore mixing and layering illuminating colors that mingle serendipitously, then pushing your piece further by adding the sparkle of metallic watercolors. Students will also learn how to layer opaque pigments for that extra element of "daring and fun" ending the class with the completion of two paintings. Open to all levels.

It’s time to catch and understand the light in your still life by translating the light to the colors that are on your palette. After all, color is pigment, and the world is infinite with hues. Learn how shadow, light, value, edges and contours create the illusion of three dimensionality leaving lightened objects that transpire from your paintings to the viewer. Open to all levels.
